Dean Lim The 2013-14 academic year is off to a fast start. We welcomed more than 1,000 new undergraduate students - our largest and arguably our most talented class of future engineers. You can meet many of them through the link to the Welcome Day picnic video on your right.
CEAS continues to build our online course capabilities through the addition of electrical engineering to the Master of Engineering program and we have teamed with the Lindner College of Business to offer UC's first MOOC, Massively Offered Online Course. The course is titled "Innovation and Design Thinking" and carries two credit hours applicable to either an MBA or our own Master of Engineering degree.
I invite you to re-connect with the college and university in the coming year. Mark your calendar and plan to join us on:
-October 17 as we celebrate the 25th anniversary of Emerging Ethnic Engineers,
-October 19 for our homecoming tailgate party,
-November 20th for Robotics Night at 5/3rd Arena (UC vs. Campbell basketball), and
-January 23, 2014 for CEAS Night at 5/3rd Arena (UC vs. UCF basketball).
I hope you will continue to follow us on Twitter @uc_ceas and Facebook
